The Argentine striker is over the moon with the transfer to San Siro and has vowed to repay the club's faith with hard work after joining on loan from Catania
The Catania-owned striker has joined the Serie A champions on a six-month loan deal after they failed in their efforts to sign Manchester City's Carlos Tevez.
"I am truly happy," Lopez told Milan Channel. "After all that happened, I am happy to join this great team.
"I want to salute all the fans of this great club and I hope to repay the affection with all my efforts."
The 27-year-old striker, who joined Catania in 2010, scored three goals in 14 appearances for the Sicilian club this season.
