AC Milan have been boosted by the news that Thiago Silva and Clarence Seedorf are fit enough to be selected for the match-day squad to face rivals Inter on Sunday evening.

Silva had been a doubt for the game after suffering from a thigh strain which saw him miss out of Saturday's training session.

Seedorf and Taye Taiwo have been struck down with influenza but there is a place in the 20-man list for the veteran Dutchman, although the Nigerian left-back misses out.

Despite making the squad, Seedorf is expected to start the game on the substitutes bench with Kevin-Prince Boateng likely to feature from the offset.

Massimiliano Allegri will be hoping to pick a team that will maintain his 100 per cent record against the Nerazzurri.
