Roma coach Luis Enrique: I am sure the goals will come soon

The Spanish coach is still looking for his first win in the Italian capital and believes it will come sooner than later
Roma coach Luis Enrique has stated that he is not worried about his side's winless start to the season and believes their first victory is just around the corner.

The capital city club have one point from their first two Serie A games this term after losing 2-1 to Cagliari and holding out for a goalless draw against Inter.

Despite the slow start the 41-year-old feels his side are good enough to challenge for honours.

“I'm not worried that we are not winning because I know that the results will arrive. We need a win because the team is working in the right way," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.

Roma host Siena at the Stadio Olimpico on Thursday night and the Spaniard is hoping to pick up the first three points of his Italian tenure.

“Facing Siena will be a complicated game for us. We should create many opportunities in attack, but at the same time must pay attention to thwart any counter-attacks.

“I see a team that wants to win, that feels indebted to their fans. I think it is the perfect game for us. I hope it will be a great match, the intention is always the same though, to win.

“I do not care if I get complaints when the goals are not coming, as I'm sure they will come soon," he concluded.
