The 51-year-old sporting director believes the club did the right thing by shipping off the Chile international to the Serie A outfit instead of Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich
Bayern Munich were extremely keen on the 24-year-old, but the Bay-Arena outfit ruled out a transfer to their Bundesliga rivals.
As a result Vidal is currently in Turin undergoing a medical and will be sold to Juventus with the transfer set to be confirmed in the coming days.
Voller insists the Bavarians would have made the same decision had they been in that position.
"I am sure Bayern would have done the same thing. Our decision was the right one," he told Bild.
Leverkusen have seen some of their best players leave for Munich in the past with Michael Ballack, Ze Roberto and Lucio, among others, making the trip south.
