The vastly experienced World Cup winning coach has been out of work ever since 2010, but could make a return to the dugout after the summer, after stating Premier League ambitionFormer Italy coach Marcello Lippi has revealed that he could make a coaching return in the 2011-12 campaign.
Lippi has recently been linked with a number of La Liga and Premier League clubs, while a job in charge of a national team could also be an option for the 63-year-old.
"I will go on a long holiday this summer. However, I could be back on the bench when the winter kicks in. We'll have to wait and see," Lippi was quoted as saying by La Repubblica.
The experienced boss has been employed at the likes of Napoli, Juventus and Inter in the past, but he achieved his biggest success when in charge of Italy's national side, lifting the World Cup in Germany in 2006.
He has been out of work ever since he failing to guide the Azzurri to the second round of the 2010 World Cup in South Africa.
