San Siro side need only one more point from their remaining three league games to secure the Scudetto and boss wants to clinch it in Italian capital next week

AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri is eager to secure the Serie A title as soon as possible and has set his sights on clinching the Scudetto in the away match against Roma next week.

The Italian table toppers recorded a narrow 1-0 home win over Bologna on Sunday and currently have an eight-point lead over second placed Inter with three more matches to play.

"All we need is one more point. We have three more games to go and I'm sure that we'll win the title. Things are looking very good. We're at 99,9 percent right now," Allegri was quoted as saying by Il Corriere dello Sport.

"We want to secure the Scudetto as soon as possible. We could clinch the title against Roma next week."

Allegri admitted that Milan didn't have an easy game against Bologna, but was pleased with the final result.

"We had a very difficult game today. Bologna caused us some problems and were unable to put the match to bed. The most important thing is to win these kind of games though."
