Swedish striker, who will sit out the derby as he serves his suspension for punching a Bari player, says leaders will have no-one to blame but themselves if they do not win title
The Swede was quoted as saying by La Gazzetta dello Sport: "Milan are without doubt the best team around in Italy, but we've made a lot of mistakes recently. We only have ourselves to blame if we don't win the league title."
The man on loan from Barcelona underlined the importance of the upcoming derby against Inter, but he refused to discuss his dismissal in the match against Bari that led to a two-match ban, which means he will miss the clash.
"The match against Inter is very important," he said. "It's so much more than just a regular league game. I have already played a lot of derbies and I know it's a special match.
"My red card against Bari? I've been given orders not to discuss it so I can't say anything about it."
AC Milan still sit top of the Serie A table with 62 points from 30 games, but second-placed Inter have narrowed the gap to two points.
