Inter director Marco Tronchetti Provera expects success to run into next season with Mario Balotelli expanding his influence at the club as he responds to transfer speculation linking the striker with Manchester City.

Balotelli's agent Mino Raiola said the glue sticking his future together with Inter is not dissolving, amid reports Manchester City are ready to pounce.

"He is an Inter player and there are no negotiations," he had said. "Therefore he will stay at Inter. A City offer? There was one, but it's not for me to say."

And Provera appears to agree, confident the hot-headed striker will still be an Inter player come the new season.

"I think the new Inter will continue with its structure and with the play from the last championship and cup competitions," he told GR Parlamento.

"We have a solid squad, a great coach with very strong international experience, and so we will enjoy a great season."

Tronchetti Provera adopted a conciliatory approach when asked whether Balotelli was part of the plans for next season following the trouble he endured last term.

"No one wants anyone to leave, but there are choices from players. We will see what happens, but sacrificing Balotelli would not be pleasing. I hope he stays and plays at Inter with consistency and happiness."

Maicon's situation is constantly changing for the Italian and Spanish press, but it's the same for Tronchetti Provera, who says there is nothing worthy of mention in relation to the Brazilian's possible move to Real Madrid.

"Maicon to Madrid? One thing is for sure and that is that nothing has been decided. It's not a transfer or a reality," he concluded.
