Inter want to sign Germany World Cup star Mesut Ozil from Werder Bremen - report

Mesut Ozil, Germany
Inter Milan are keeping tabs on Werder Bremen winger Mesut Ozil, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Germany international has caught the eye of several clubs across Europe after an impressive showing against Australia on Sunday.

The Serie A and Champions League champions have now reportedly joined the 21-year-old's list of admirers, which also contains Juventus.

Ozil's agent,
Reza Fazeli, has refused to get drawn into speculation and hinted that the winger's future will only be decided after the World Cup.

"It is normal for a player like him, who played 49 matches last season and was decisive in 41 of them, to cause many rumours," Fazeli told Tuttomercato.

"However, we have promised not to make any comments about possible clubs interested in him or a possible stay at Werder until after the World Cup."

Ozil, who has a contract with Werder Bremen until 2011, signed for Werder from Schalke 04 for a reported fee of €4.3 million.
