The Bayern Munich striker's representative has confirmed that his client has set his sights on a move away from the Bundesliga champions after losing his starting berthMario Gomez's agent Uli Ferber has revealed that the prolific striker is likely to leave Bayern Munich in the summer transfer window.
The Germany international has lost his starting berth to Mario Mandzukic and has been linked with clubs such as Fiorentina and Napoli in recent weeks, while he has supposedly caught the attention of a number of Premier League sides, too.
Ferber has now admitted that a summer move is a realistic option, although Gomez has yet to make a final decision on his future.
"Mario is clearly leaning toward a move away from Bayern," the striker's representative told Kicker. "We have not made a final decision on which club he wants to join, though."
Gomez, 27, has netted 113 goals in 174 official appearances for Bayern since joining them from Stuttgart in the summer of 2009.
The striker's current deal with the European champions runs until the summer of 2016.
