VFB Stuttgart playmaker Christian Gentner has revealed what he hopes his side might be able to achieve against holding champions Borussia Dortmund in their Bundesliga clash on Saturday.
Die Schwaben were able to secure a spectacular 4-4 comeback-draw against Jurgen Klopp's side last term, with now new Dortmund-signing Julian Schieber scoring two goals for his former club.
Asked if we can look forward to another spectacular goal fest against the yellows this season, 27-year-old Gentner told Goal.com that he remains indifferent.
"It is difficult to say – actually we do not care. We want to take [three points] away with us. If it is [a] dirty [match], we play a bad game and win 1-0 at the end, then I would prefer that over a spectacle," he said.
He then went on to talk about why he thinks his side could leave the match with points again this season:
"Not because of this match [the 4-4 last season], but because of our good performances in the last couple of games, in the last weeks. We want to take this momentum with us and then hope that we can gain something."
