The Brazilian defender is over the moon with the prospect of moving to the Allianz Arena and says that the transfer could allow him to earn his first international call-up
The Bavarian giants have been strongly linked with the 28-year-old, who has a €4.6 million buy-out clause.
Dante has said that negotiations with Bayern are at an advanced stage and admitted that he is relishing the prospect of plying his trade at the Allianz Arena.
"Bayern are in talks with my agent, we are just taking care of some details and it is a dream for many players to play at a big club like this," he told ESPN Estadao.
"It will allow me to realise a dream of mine which is to play at a big club and perhaps, one day, to represent the Brazil national team."
Signed from Standard Liege in 2009, Dante has established himself as a key player at Gladbach, who are fourth in the Bundesliga standings.
