GOALKEEPER

Heinz MULLER
Mainz

Mainz all but confirmed their spot in the Bundesliga next season thanks to a win against Koln in midweek, then a draw with Bayern at the Allianz Arena on Saturday. Muller played well in both matches, but was in particularly stellar form in the Bayern draw as he made fine saves from Ivica Olic, Arjen Robben and Toni Kroos, and showed good command of his penalty area.

Fabian JOHNSON
Hoffenheim

Dortmund all but wrapped up the Bundesliga title in the last two rounds, with much thanks to Piszczek and Hummels. The Polish right-back did well to limit Franck Ribery's contribution in a 1-0 win against Bayern, and scored a cracking equaliser in the Ruhr derby against Schalke, which ended in a 2-1 victory. Hummels, meanwhile, was a candidate for man of the match as he kept Mario Gomez quiet in the Bayern win, and while he had a difficult start against Schalke, was more than convincing for the final hour.

Noveski was in fine form during both of Mainz's matches over the last week, joining Muller. The Macedonian's heroics and leadership at the back ensured two clean sheets.

Johnson makes his second appearance after Hoffenheim took four hard-earned points without conceding a goal. The left-back did his share in keeping the clean sheets, and even added a strike of his own in a 4-0 win against Hamburg.

MIDFIELDERS

Tamas HAJNAL
Stuttgart

 Christian GENTNER
Stuttgart
TOTW Apps: 2

Two wins in rounds 30 and 31 had some even considering Stuttgart as outside candidates for a Champions League berth, and Gentner and Hajnal have both been in fine form. The ex-Wolfsburg man had two excellent performances from his position in defensive midfield, and even made his mark in the attack; providing two assists and scoring another. Hajnal, meanwhile, gave two assists in midweek, and proved to be a real danger man on Friday, even if he did not find the net in the 4-1 win over Werder Bremen.

 Martin HARNIK
Stuttgart

 Daniel DIDAVI
Nurnberg
TOTW Apps: 1

Along with Gentner, Harnik can take credit for propelling Stuttgart in their late surge. The Austrian scored versus Augsburg and then found the net twice against Bremen.

Stuttgart will benefit from the summer return of Didavi from his loan spell in Nurnberg. The Germany U21 international scored two goals and gave an assist in a 4-1 win against Schalke, then hitting the net and set up another strike in a 2-0 victory over Kaiserslautern

FORWARDS

 Marco REUS
Monchengladbach
TOTW Apps: 11

 Stefan KIESSLING
Leverkusen
TOTW Apps: 3

Kiessling has hit peak form for Leverkusen, and not a moment too soon as his side strive to hold onto a Europa League spot. The striker was on target in a 3-1 win against Kaiserslautern, then scored a double in a 3-3 draw with Hertha Berlin.

Gladbach appear to have survived a late surge from Stuttgart, and Reus deserves heaps of praise for leading last year's relegation-battlers to the Champions League. The attacker was arguably his team's best player in midweek, and was man of the match on Sunday as the Rhine side won their derby match against Koln.
