Bayern Munich's Franck Ribery: Thomas Muller is best on the right
The Germany star was deployed on the wing for the cup clash with Stuttgart, a role the Frenchman feels his teammate excels in, despite the presence of Arjen Robben

Bayern Munich attacker Franck Ribery has stated his belief that Thomas Muller is best deployed as a right winger.
The Germany international has been shifted from position to position in recent months due to injuries to Arjen Robben and Ribery himself.
Arjen Robben was benched for Wednesday's DFB-Pokal win over Stuttgart, with the 22-year-old preferred in the Dutchman's usual right-wing position, a role the Frenchman feels his teammate excels in.
"It is difficult for the coach to decide between Muller and Robben. But Thomas has been playing very well on the right. For me, he is better there," he told Tz-online.de.
"Arjen was obviously a bit sad when he heard that he wouldn't play. But that is normal - he hasn't played, but that's football.
"It's hard for him because he always wants to play, just like me."
Ribery went on to back Robben to come back as strong as ever for his club when he regains his fitness, and claims he does not need to adapt his game.
"You cannot tell him to change. He has always played and was so successful. We all know Arjen's power when he is fit, he is an important player for us."
