Wolfsburg's Felix Magath admits interest in Arsenal's Tomas Rosicky
The 58-year-old coach says that the Czech star would be a good addition to his side and admitted he needs to make some quality signings to move the club up the Bundesliga table
By Luis Mira
The Czech Republic international moved to England in 2006, but his time at the north London club has been marred by a series of injuries.
As well as expressing an interest in Bayern Munich's out-of-favour striker Ivica Olic, Magath has confessed he would like to bring Rosicky back to the Bundesliga.
"Tomas is a good player, no doubt," Magath told Bild. "A few years ago, every top club wanted to sign him."
Wolfsburg currently sit 14th in the league table, just two points above the relegation zone, and Magath admits his side need reinforcements to reach their goals.
"I am not a dreamer who believes that we can play with this team for a place in Europe," he noted. "We lack a top player, one who stands out through performance or personality."
Rosicky, 31, previously played in Germany with Borussia Dortmund, for whom he featured between 2001 and 2006.
