Bayern Munich’s out-of-favour forward Ivica Olic has expressed his interest in a January move away from the Allianz Arena.

Olic started Wednesday night’s Champions League clash with Manchester City but has seen very little game time under Jupp Heynckes this term and has already revealed that he will leave the Bundesliga giants at the end of the season.

Heynckes has stated that he does not intend to let any players leave during the winter break but Olic believes that he could yet depart during the January transfer window.

“I am no longer a young player, I have two or three years left to play,” the 32-year-old striker told Kicker. “I have to use my time.

“As for a winter switch, I'm not sure, but [even] if I stay, I will be gone in the summer.”

Olic has been linked with Wolfsburg in recent weeks and he admitted: "This is an option."

The Croatia international, who has been capped 73 times by his country, has made over 40 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern since arriving from Hamburg in 2009.
