Official: Former Rangers winger DaMarcus Beasley signs one-year deal with Hannover
American joins compatriot Steve Cherundolo in Germany...

The former Manchester City, who was a free agent after being released by Rangers in the summer, has moved to the Bundesliga side on a one-year deal.
"With DaMarcus, we have another good option in our squad," Hannover sporting director Joerg Schmadtke said. "This is important for a long league season that will bring many challenges."
Beasley added: "I am familiar with '96 already, because two years ago, I played in a friendly in Hannover. It's great to play with [fellow United States international] Steven Cherundolo in a team. And the league for me is a special challenge."
Although he has struggled with injury, Beasley could fill the void left by new signing Carlitos, who suffered a severe knee injury in his team's Bundesliga opener.
