Former Manchester United and Arsenal defender Mikael Silvestre has agreed to sign for German club Werder Bremen, according to Skysports.com.
The Bundesliga club had revealed earlier this week that they were eager to land Silvestre, who is a free agent after his contract with Arsenal expired at the end of last season.
It's now been reported that the 33-year-old has been in talks with officials from Werder and that he has agreed to sign a two-year contract.
Silvestre will reportedly undergo a medical in Bremen on Monday and will then officially sign the deal.
