The former defender and OM's current sporting director believes the Argentine is the right man for the job and says he hopes a deal can be struck in the near future
The Argentine coach, who was in the stands to see OM beat Montpellier 3-2 on Friday night, has been in negotiations with the club and has confessed that he is confident a deal can be concluded that will see him take over at the helm in the summer.
And Anigo believes the 58-year-old will be impressed by the team's display on Friday and is convinced the former Chile boss is the right man to take charge of the Provencal side.
"Bielsa was in the stands? Well I hope he took good notes," he told Canal+. "Tonight he saw a match with the players at their best, and there is nothing more rewarding for a coach than seeing players at this level.
"The discussions? I love this coach, I'm not the only one... I appreciate his character, I hope it will work out."
Marseille's win enhanced their position as the sixth-placed side in Ligue 1.
