The 29-year-old midfielder concedes that Claudio Ranieri's side were good value for their point after Thiago Silva's own-goal ensured a share of the spoils in the principality
The principality club rescued a draw late on thanks to a Thiago Silva own-goal, after Javier Pastore had given the reigning French champions the lead.
But Matuidi has admitted that Claudio Ranieri's side were good value for their point, after pushing the Ligue 1 leaders right to the finish.
"We fell away a little," the 26-year-old told Canal +. "It was a good game of football. The share of the points is deserved by both teams.
"We were facing a good team. In midfield, we suffered, but we were solid nonetheless."
The draw in the riviera means PSG remain five points clear of second-placed Monaco at the summit of the standings.
