Lucas Moura eyes PSG silverware

The Brazil international believes his side are on course for another great season both in Ligue 1 and in the Champions League
Lucas Moura is confident Paris-Saint Germain’s great start to the season is a sign that more silverware is in the offing for the club.

The Brazil winger scored in les Parisiens' 4-0 win over Lorient on Friday night to open up a three-point gap over Monaco at the top of Ligue 1.

The 21-year-old was signed by Carlo Ancelotti from Sao Paulo in January and helped the club to the Ligue 1 title and the quarter-finals of the Champions League last term, but wants more success this season.

“PSG can get far this season,” Moura said to Portugese publication Abola.Pt.

“But nobody is invincible and we need to continue to work hard to get it that way.”

PSG midfielder Adrien Raboit, 18, spoke highly about his side’s performance after Friday’s win and revealed his satisfaction at the the goal threat posed by the squad.

He told Foot01: “It was a good game overall, though it was a little loose in the second half.

“We are on a long, unbeaten run. We win and we are scoring plenty of goals, and it is a good goal difference for those who are watching, especially the fans.”
