The 19-year-old is widely seen as one of the world's most promising young defenders and his colleague believes he is already a key player at the Parc des Princes
The 19-year-old has been eased into his new surroundings in Ligue 1, with Laurent Blanc selecting him on five occasions so far this season and Camara has been impressed with what he has seen.
"Marquinhos is so good that he represents both the present and the future," Camara told Le10Sport.
"He has come from a strong side in Roma and shown that he can play at the top level. Some people have asked me to compare him to [Mamadou] Sakho, and in my opinion they are very different in style.
"The most important thing is that we let him progress at his own speed, and don't call him things like the 'new Thiago Silva'. That won't help his development."
The young Brazilian moved to PSG from Roma in the summer for a fee of €32m [£27m].
