The Brazilian says he is enjoying his time in the French capital and wants to be a part of a bright future with the Ligue 1 leaders
The €42 million signing from AC Milan has helped his side to the top of Ligue 1, with les Parisiens on the cusp of winning their first domestic league title since 1994.
The defender has gained critical acclaim so far this season through a string of impressive performances and says has no plans to move away from Paris any time soon.
"I'm glad to be part of an evolving team," the 28-year-old told le 10 Sport.
"I'm happy in Paris, I'm happy to play with great players and to be part of an ambitious project. We were eliminated in the Champions League quarter finals but we played well in both games. Today, I hope that with my team-mates we will form an even stronger team."
The capital club are nine points clear at the summit of Ligue 1 and could be crowned champions next weekend if they take three points against Valenciennes.
