The Paris Saint-Germain trainer believes his team could still slump to another disappointing run if they do not keep up their improved performances after consecutive winsParis Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti has warned his players that their bad results could yet return despite victories over Porto and Evian ending a run of just three wins in eight matches.
Les Parisiens slipped from the top of Ligue 1 after defeats to Saint-Etienne, Rennes and Nice during November and early December, but Ancelotti is confident that his players have learnt from those performances and would have the strength to overcome another slump in form.
"We have shown a good reaction after the defeat to Nice. We won against Porto and had a good game against Evian. Things are good right now," he told RMC Sport, ahead of their match against Valenciennes on Tuesday.

"I know football very well. A difficult time can still happen. We must not forget what happened during the match against Saint-Etienne, Nice and Rennes.
"But the attitude we showed in the last two games we have not shown before. It can help us to overcome difficult times."
The former Chelsea trainer has recently changed his side's formation to a conventional 4-4-2, meaning that there is a lot of competition in the centre of midfield, but the Italian believes there is not a first-choice pair in the middle of the pitch.
He said: "With the new system, it is true that there is a lot of competition between Thiago Motta, [Clement] Chantôme, [Blaise] Matuidi and [Marco] Verratti. It will not be easy to choose the two midfielders.
"Verratti has more quality in the construction of the game and Chantôme is a very dynamic midfielder. Matuidi is very aggressive and Motta is one who has the most experience. They can all play together."
Reports in the media have suggested that winger Nene could be on his way out of Parc des Princes, but Ancelotti has said that the former Monaco man has not requested a transfer and remains a member of the squad for the time being.
He added: "If he demands to leave the club, we will make a decision. For now, Nene did not ask to leave the club, so we have not decided anything."
