Paris Saint-Germain's Javier Pastore has described fellow attacking midfielder Kaka as the player he most admired when he was growing up.
The former Palermo star says that he observed his fellow South American closely on TV and set out to emulate him.
"Kaka was always the player I idolised the most when I was a child," Pastore told the official website of the club who finished runners-up in France last season.
"I watched him play all the time in order to try and learn from him, to maximise my progress," he added.
Kaka has been constantly linked with a move to the French capital since the appointment of his former AC Milan boss Carlo Ancelotti as manager, though he remains a Real Madrid player following the summer transfer window.
