Tottenham set deadline for Lloris transfer by Olympique Lyonnais

The Ligue 1 side's president recently stated that the goalkeeper is "99 per cent" sure to stay despite interest from the Premier League and a final decision will be made shortly
Olympique Lyonnais have told Hugo Lloris that they will make a final decision on his future by July 29.

The France international has been linked with a number of clubs in the past few weeks, with Tottenham the most prominent suitors, but his current employers are keen to hold on to him.

Club president Jean-Michel Aulas recently declared that there was a "99 per cent" chance that the shot-stopper will remain at the Stade Gerland and Lloris is expected to find out soon whether or not he will be transfered out of Lyon.

"We have not received any official offers for Lloris," Aulas was quoted as saying by France Football.

"I will see Hugo again on Thursday when I arrive in New York. We will make a final decision [on his future] after the Trophee des champions."

Lyon's clash in the French Supercup versus Montpellier takes place on July 28.
