The flamboyant Frenchman has questioned the Parisians' decision to sign the Sweden international as he feels Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi would have been better optionsMontpellier president Louis Nicollin has made it clear that he is not particularly impressed with Paris Saint-Germain's signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic from AC Milan.
The flamboyant official feels that the Sweden international is not among the top stars in the game, and believes the Parisians' could have spent their money more wisely.
"If I had money, lots of money, I would not have taken the 'pony tail'. I would have taken Cristiano Ronaldo or someone like that," Nicollin told reporters.
"I don't know whether he will struggle in Ligue 1. He won't have any problems if he is the great player that everybody says he is.
"He has never really impressed me, though. Cristiano Ronaldo or Messi, yes, but I'm not too sure about Ibrahimovic."
The 30-year-old striker signed a three-year deal with PSG earlier this week, with Milan team-mate Thiago Silva also heading to the Parc des Princes.
