The France international is desperate to part company with Les Dogues and has his heart set on a move to the Premier League side. However, Lille are refusing to complete the deal until they find adequate cover, leaving Debuchy in limbo.
"Mathieu has expressed his wish to leave," Garcia told La Voix du Nord. "I understood him. Now we are looking at the possibility of replacing him; we're searching.
