Paris Saint-Germain coach Carlo Ancelotti likes his side's chances of signing AC Milan duo Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The two clubs have agreed a €60 million deal for the highly-rated duo, with the transfer now subject to the players agreeing personal terms with the French outfit.
Earlier on Friday, Ibrahimovic's agent stated that his client was far away from PSG, but Ancelotti thinks that a deal will be reached very soon.
"There is a great chance that Ibrahimovic and Silva will sign for PSG," he told AFP. "Everyone knows that we are interested in them.
"We are working on a deal, but nothing is official yet. I hope they will soon be here with us, but I cannot say anything else about these two players, who are among the best in the world for me."
The Italian coach then played down stories linking his side with Tottenham star Luka Modric, who is also understood to be on Real Madrid's wishlist.
"Luka is one the best players in the world right now," Ancelotti added. "He would be a great player for any team.
"But we have not made any contact, nor any offer."
Meanwhile, PSG right-back Christophe Jallet believes that the Milan duo would be great assets to the team and that signing them would outline the club's ambition.
"Those are still rumours," Jallet said. "We are waiting for it to happen, that is all I know. If it happens, we will welcome the two of them with great pleasure.
"It would be an honour to be able to count on such players in Ligue 1 and at PSG. It is a sign of the club's ambition."
