The Sweden international's representative has insisted that both parties are still miles apart, but added that talks with the Ligue 1 giants are ongoingZlatan Ibrahimovic's agent, Mino Raiola, has made it clear that the AC Milan star is nowhere near agreeing terms with Paris Saint-Germain at this point.
A number of recent reports have suggested that the transfer was nearing completion, but the Swede's representative has stressed that there is currently no agreement between both parties just yet as negotiations are ongoing.
"Ibrahimovic to Paris Saint-Germain? We are as close [to reaching an agreement] as China is to the United States of America," Raiola stated to Sportmediaset.
"It's not a done deal. You guys in Italy are making up a lot of things. An agreement is very far away. PSG have to realise that they're signing the best with Zlatan.
"I'm meeting with Leonardo today. We'll see what happens."
The 30-year-old striker has reportedly set his sights on an annual wage packet of £11m per season, which represents an increase of £1.5m a year on his current salary at Milan.
