Paris Saint-Germain's sporting director Leonardo claims Paolo Maldini could join the club as a coach
The former Italy international has rejected all previous opportunities to embark on a coaching career but his former team-mate insists he is considering an offer from the club

Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has revealed that AC Milan legend Paolo Maldini could take up a coaching role with the French club.
Maldini was present as the Ligue 1 leaders defeated Toulouse at the Parc des Princes on Saturday night and his former team-mate has claimed that the 43-year-old Italian is considering becoming a part of Carlo Ancelotti’s backroom team at the Parc des Princes.
"Maldini has come because he is curious,” Leonardo told Canal Football Club. “Could he be integrated into the PSG staff? He is already close to us.
“His vision of football is really complete. I'm not saying he will work with us. He will calmly sort out his future himself but he will certainly stay close to us.”
Maldini, who made 647 appearances for Milan during his 24 years with the club as a player, has hitherto rejected all previous opportunities to embark on a coaching career but does have an excellent relationship with former Rossoneri boss Ancelotti.
