Real Madrid & Bayern Munich fail in £18.1m bid for Lille forward & Arsenal target Eden Hazard - report

Lille midfielder Eden Hazard is subject to failed €22 million [£18.1m] bids from both Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, according to Le Parisien.

The influential Belgian is seen as one of Ligue 1's top playmakers, and as such LOSC have put a price tag on his head believed to be in the region of €30m [£24.8m].

Hazard made his league debut in 2007 at the age of 16 and already has 12 caps for his country.

His performances for Les Dogues have won him the Ligue 1 Young Player of the Year award twice, as well as a nomination for the overall Player of the Year award.

Neither Bayern nor Madrid have confirmed their bids, while LOSC have yet to announce the reception of any offers, but the French newspaper nsists that concrete interest in the youngster is mounting.

Hazard is under contract until 2014.
