The FA will commemorate 125 years of British Army football with a charity match scheduled for 18 May at Reading's Madejski Stadium.

England boss Roy Hodgson will take charge of the FA Legends as they go head-to-head with the contemporary British Army squad, which will be under the stewardship of England Under-21 tactician Stuart Pearce for the afternoon.

Former stars such as Ledley King, Matt Le Tissier, Dietmar Hamman, Gary Neville, and Jens Lehmann will be participating in the goodwill game for the FA Legends.

The price of admission will be £12, with proceeds going to military-oriented charities, whilst the FA have made a £10,000 donation to provide the project with immediate funding.

The match is set to be also included as one of the FA's 150th anniversary events.
