Young scored the only goal in the 1-0 win in Oslo with a superb solo effort, starting in a new partnership with Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.

Hodgson’s side host Belgium next week in their final warm-up game for the showpiece tournament, and Young is pleased with the progress the squad is making.
“We are preparing for the Euros now, and this game and next week's game is about preparing the right way,” he told ITV.
“The manager has come in and changed a few things. It's only been a few days, but I think it worked out there tonight.”
On linking up with Carroll up front, Young added: “It went well, we’ve been working on it in training. There were a few good combinations, and it worked with the goal which is always nice to get.”
The Manchester United winger isn’t taking anything for granted, however, and knows that no-ones’ place in the starting XI is guaranteed.
“I think I did alright tonight, I took my goal well,” he said. “It was tough out there, but it's all about preparing for the Euros now and getting a win is nice as well.”
“It's up to the manager [to pick the side], not down to me,” he said. “I’ve got to keep putting in performances that I have done before tonight, but we’ll see what happens when it comes to the Euros.”
