Ben Foster withdraws from England squad with injury
Joe Hart only fit shot stopper in squad...
By Matt Monaghan
Foster, 27, was called up by manager Fabio Capello after missing out on World Cup 2010. With David James and Robert Green dropped after this summer's tournament, the Birmingham City new boy was expected to provide cover for Hart.
The Three Lions were left with just the Manchester City man after Blackburn Rovers' Paul Robinson retired from international football following his weekend call up. Capello has now taken the opportunity to look to the future and has called up under-21 pair Frank Fielding and Scott Loach.
