Former Chelsea star Juliano Belletti claims Santos can beat Barcelona in Club World Cup final
The right-back feels his native side have what it takes to cause an upset against Pep Guardiola's men on Sunday, stating that their cycle will inevitably come to an end
By Livio Caferoglu
The 35-year-old, who played for the Blaugrana between 2004 and 2007, told Lancenet on Saturday that his former club's winning cycle cannot last forever, as many of their rivals, including Muricy Ramalho's side, will eventually crack their code to success.
"Teams already know how to score [against Barcelona], players get older, life goes on," said Belletti. " For the other teams as well as Barcelona, it will become difficult to keep up the pace.
"Santos can win. There will be no favourites during the 90 minutes, anything can happen."
Kick-off at the Nissan Stadium in Yokohama is scheduled for 10:30GMT.
