Bet of the Day: Some Swedish Superettan action
A second tier match catches our eye today...
By Patrick Reilly
There may be some tasty Champions League qualifiers being played tonight but we've elected for the safer environs of the Swedish second division, better known as the Superettan, for the clash between Orgryte and Jonkopings Sodra.
Due to the scheduling of the Swedish leagues these sides will meet for the second time in just over a week with the entire calendar of fixtures being replayed with just the venue changing.
Orgryte won the reverse fixture eight days ago 2-0 to stretch their unbeaten streak to six games. They've been the draw specialists of the Superettan, clocking up eight from 15 including five at home. Amazingly, they've only lost one game all season but the sheer amount of draws has Orgryte wedged in seventh spot.
Jonkopings Sodra have lost rather more games than Orgryte, notching up eight defeats so far, pitching them on the edge of the relegation zone. They've been better away from home, but only just, picking up 10 of their 17 points, and are in the midst of a dismal run, losing five of the last six.
In the recent head-to-head Orgryte have won two, drawn two and lost the other. We were treated to two goalless draws in that sequence and all of the last five matches between the pair have been under 2.5 goals.
All things considered a draw at 3.61 is worth considering. However, Ogryte have crept into a bit of form winning their last two including a 3-0 victory over Hammarby to earn their first home win. Hammarby are of a similar level to Jonkpoings so the home side should win tonight...just.
* Back under 2.5 goals at 1.92
Match Odds: Orgryte 1.59, Draw 3.61, Jonkopings Soedra 4.82

A double Czech delight at Jablonec beat Brno 1-0 to ensure our prediction of a home win and under 2.5 goals paid off. It wasn't a classic with a scrappy winner settling the affair. See the match action here.
