After completing his move to Sir Alex Ferguson's side from the Gunners, Goal.com takes a pictoral look at his unveiling and first training session with his new club

Manchester United clinched the signature of former Arsenal striker Robin van Persie to bolster their attack ahead of the new Premier League season.

With Wayne Rooney, Danny Welbeck, Javier Hernandez and Dimitar Berbatov already at the club to compete alongisde for a starting spot, Ferguson and the Dutch attacker were all smiles as he was unveiled for the first time.

Later on, Van Persie finally got out on to the training pitch next to a few of his new team-mates and he looks set to be involved in some capacity in the side's opening game of the season away at Everton.
