The National League leaders are set for the trip to Turf Moor but our tipster expects Sean Dyche's side to progress thanks to their impressive defence
Lincoln City are aiming to add another chapter to their FA Cup fairytale when they travel to take on top flight Burnley in the fifth round of the competition.
Danny Cowley's men have already disposed of Championship sides Ipswich Town and Brighton & Hove Albion at Sincil Bank, and now the Imps are hoping to see off the Clarets at Turf Moor.
Sean Dyche's side, however, will undoubtedly provide a stern test; Burnley have been beaten in just three of their last 29 competitive matches on home soil and the Clarets claimed a point against Chelsea at Turf Moor in the Premier League last weekend.
Given the Clarets' impressive home record, it is little surprise that the Premier League side are as short as 30/100 (1.30) with Betway to extinguish the Imps' Cup dreams by winning this one, even if they make several changes with their Premier League campaign in mind.
Lincoln, leaders of the National League, certainly will not be devoid of belief though, for they have been beaten in just two of their last 28 games. Cowley's charges are chalked up as a 9/1 (10.0) chance to take their most significant scalp to date by beating Burnley, while the same firm go 9/2 (5.50) that the non league outfit force a replay against the Clarets.
Burnley have a superb defensive record on home soil, having conceded just two goals in their last seven fixtures at Turf Moor in all competitions; the Clarets are chalked up at just 5/6 (1.83) with Betway to bag another clean sheet here, while the same firm go even money (2.0) that Dyche's team win without conceding - a selection that would have seen punters profit from five of Burnley's last six home wins.
Lincoln have scored 13 FA Cup goals so far this season, but the Imps' attack will be blunted by the loss of Theo Robinson; the 28-year-old has scored five times for Cowley's men in the competition this term but left Lincoln for Southend United at the end of last month.
There have been goals at both ends in all but one of Lincoln's last six FA Cup clashes and Betway go 21/20 (2.05) that the trend continues at Turf Moor.
The Clarets' defensive discipline, though, is admirable and backing the Premier League side to progress to the last eight of the competition without conceding offers outstanding value ahead of this Cup clash; punters, therefore, should back Burnley to win to nil at even money (2.0) with Betway.
