Two teams struggling to find their best form meet in Serie A but home advantage could hold the key to victory for Maurizio Sarri's side against the travel-sick visitors
Friday night football comes from Serie A this week as Napoli play host to Inter.
Maurizio Sarri's side endured frustration on Monday night as the concession of a late equaliser against Sassuolo meant that they were forced to settle for a share of the spoils for a fourth time in five fixtures.
The home side will be eager to get back to winning ways and Napoli can be backed at 17/20 (1.85) with Betfair Sportsbook to achieve that objective when they face Stefano Pioli's side.
The visitors have a dreadful record away from home. Inter have lost six of their last seven matches on the road and have come out on top in just three of their last 20 outings on their travels in all competitions.
After enduring a disappointing campaign last time out, Inter turned to former Dutch captain Frank de Boer in the summer, appointing the former Ajax Amsterdam boss as manager.
De Boer's reign, however, proved to be short-lived, as the 46-year-old was dismissed after just 85 days in charge and, instead, Inter's hierarchy have put their faith in Pioli.
After a poor start to the season, Inter appear to have steadied the ship in recent weeks, taking seven points from their last three league matches. The Serie A side endured a humiliating 3-2 Europa League defeat against Hapoel Be'er Sheva though, after surrendering a two-goal advantage in the game - a result that saw Inter suffer an embarrassing exit from the competition.
There has been no shortage of excitement in the visitors' recent encounters; Pioli will be pleased that his side have scored 11 goals in their last four games, but the concession of two goals in four of Inter's last five fixtures will surely give the former Lazio manager cause for concern.
With the goals flowing freely in Inter's most recent matches, it is unsurprising that Betfair Sportsbook offer just 13/20 (1.65) that more than two goals are scored here, while the same firm go 11/20 (1.55) that there are goals at both ends during Friday's fixture.
Value, however, lies in backing the hosts to take all three points from this match; Sarri's side have tasted defeat in just one of their last 26 Serie A matches on home soil and, given Inter's troubles on their travels, punters are advised to back Napoli at 17/20 (1.85) to return to winning ways in Friday's fixture.
