thumbnail Hello,

Some of the world's best players will be on display at the Camp Nou on Saturday and Spanish tipster Phil Kitromilides has taken a look at the likely scorers and their odds

Often the Clasico is billed as Cristiano Ronaldo against Lionel Messi and once more the two best footballers on the planet are likely to take centre stage at the Camp Nou on Saturday afternoon. After a slow start to the campaign for both men they have proved pivotal to their respective teams in recent weeks, with Messi scoring 10 of Barcelona's last 14 goals and Ronaldo scoring eight times in his last four league appearances.

Certainly both players enjoy this fixture, with the Argentine the all-time leading scorer in Clasicos and his Portuguese counterpart being the first man to have scored in six successive games between Real Madrid and Barcelona.

In-form and with the spotlight firmly on them, both leading front men will be expected to shine and SkyBet offer the former at 5/6 (1.83) to find the back of the net, with the latter priced at 6/5 (2.20). Given his recent good run that price appears solid enough for Ronaldo to fire yet another Clasico goal.

Elsewhere in the betting Luis Suarez is also offered at 5/6 (1.83) yet the Uruguayan has been somewhat inconsistent over recent weeks. The former Liverpool man has netted only once in Barca's last five matches although he did score twice at the Bernabeu last season in the Blaugrana's stunning 4-0 victory.

The other member of Barca's famed MSN attacking trident is Neymar and the Brazilian has had more of an auxiliary role over the last couple of months. The Brazil international's statistics for assists have been highly impressive, yet the 24-year-old has not scored a league goal since 2nd October.

He is offered at 11/8 (2.38) to end that barren run on Saturday just ahead in the betting of Karim Benzema at 7/4 (2.75). Madrid's No. 9 has scored in both of his side's previous two victories against Barca and boasts a decent record in this fixture with a total of eight Clasico goals.

Missing for Madrid will be the injured Gareth Bale, with his absence likely to be covered by Lucas Vazquez. The Spain international has yet to score this season in La Liga and is offered at 3/1 (4.00) to get off the mark against Barca, while another young Spaniard Marco Asensio is offered at 4/1 (5.00).

Asensio has a remarkable record this season, netting on his first team debut as well as his debuts in La Liga, the Copa Del Rey and the Champions League. If he gets onto the pitch the 20-year-old will be keen to mark his Clasico debut with a goal.
