The European champions have made an excellent start to the La Liga season and we are backing the leaders to find the back of the net at least three times at th Bernabeu
Real Madrid look to continue their 100 per cent start to the season on Wednesday night with a match against potentially their toughest opponents so far.
While Villarreal have taken a while to get going, Fran Escriba's side could prove stubborn opposition at the Bernabeu and their recent record against Los Blancos is impressive. Madrid have won just three of their last seven meetings with the Yellow Submarine and were beaten 1-0 by them at El Madrigal last season.
Villarreal also recorded a 1-1 draw at the Bernabeu in March 2015 although the side from Castellon remain without their two main strikers in Roberto Soldado and Cedric Bakambu, and it should be noted that they have never recorded a win away to Real Madrid.
One thing that Zidane has been doing well so far this season is making full use of his squad and with Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo missing Sunday's trip to Espanyol with minor problems, expect both of those players to come back into the starting line-up.
The European champions will be at close to full strength with Casemiro perhaps the only doubt and this should ensure that Madrid can continue their strong scoring form at home. Los Blancos have scored at least three goals in 12 of their last 14 home La Liga matches and a repeat is offered at 5/6 (1.83).
What has been particularly impressive about Madrid's start to the season is how goals have come from all over the pitch, with 11 different players finding the back of the net already.
This shared capacity to score should serve the side in good stead against Villarreal on Wednesday and, with this bet paying out in five of the Yellow Submarine's last six visits to the Bernabeu, backing the hosts to net over 2.5 goals seems like a logical selection.
