William Hill have opened a market on which Premier League side will make the most signings before Monday's 11pm deadline offering Manchester United at 9/2 and the Eagles at 5/2
William Hill have opened a market on which club will make the most signings on the final day of the window with Manchester United near the top of the market at 9/2 (5.50).
Louis van Gaal obviously feels he has a re-building job to do at Old Trafford and although United have already added several new additions including Angel Di Maria, Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo this summer, it's expected that they will be as busy as anyone as 11pm approaches.
Although United are one of the favourites it could be worth looking further down the Premier League as those predicted to be closer to the relegation zone than the European places look to strengthen their squads. Fulham provided the most activity in the last window and it could pay again to look a bit further back in the market.
Neil Warnock replaced Tony Pulis as Crystal Palace boss last week and it's understood that the 65-year-old Eagles boss is keen to bring in several new players to bolster his squad after re-signing Wilfried Zaha to great effect. Palace are the 5/2 (3.50) favourites to sign the most players before the window closes.
QPR make some appeal at 6/1 (7.0) as Harry Redknapp looks to add new recruits to his Rangers side that lost the services of both Loic Remy and Danny Simpson on Sunday. Redknapp has been linked with moves for Aaron Lennon and ex-Spurs striker Jermain Defoe and has a reputation for being particularly active on the final day of any transfer window.
Sunderland are available at 12/1 (13.0) with Tottenham priced at 9/1 (10.0) to bring in the most new signings after Sunday's disappointing 3-0 defeat to Liverpool.
