Everton - Chelsea Betting Preview: Goals galore at Goodison Park with the Blues in town

Fresh from conceding twice late on to Arsenal last time out, the Toffees face Jose Mourinho’s side at home, with our tipster backing over 2.5 goals at a fantastic price
After battling past Leicester City last time out, Chelsea travel to Merseyside to face Everton in the Saturday evening match looking to make it three wins from three.

Whereas the Blues have kicked off the season with a 100 per cent record, the Toffees have drawn both their league matches 2-2 but should have really collected all three points against both Leicester and Arsenal, conceding late goals in both fixtures.

Roberto Martinez's side will look to make it third time lucky this season as they face a Blues outfit who could be missing their star striker Diego Costa. A Steven Naismith goal proved the difference between the sides at Goodison Park last season, with Paddy Power pricing the Toffees at 5/2 (3.50) to repeat that trick and inflict a first defeat on Chelsea this campaign.

With Fernando Torres on his way out of the club, Saturday could see Didier Drogba return to the starting line-up to lead the line in Costa's absence. The striker has a fantastic record against Everton, scoring a number of spectacular goals. Paddy Power price the visitors at 23/20 (2.15) to win, with the same firm offering the draw at 23/10 (3.30).

Everton dominated Arsenal all over the park but it is tough to see Martinez's side getting the better of Chelsea in the head-to-head battles, with Mourinho likely to name a strong midfield with the likes of Nemanja Matic, Cesc Fabregas and Eden Hazard all featuring.

That said, with Everton proving a tough team to beat under the Spaniard, it is worth swerving the outright market in favour of something else.

Instead, it is worth taking advantage of the over 2.5 goals bet being offered at 11/10 (2.10) with Paddy Power. At Burnley, Chelsea played a very attacking formation during the first half which saw four goals scored.

It was a similar story against Leicester, with the visitors somehow failing to score before Chelsea netted twice as they found their stride in the second half. With Everton scoring goals with ease but looking suspect at the back, especially late on, expect goals to flow on Saturday evening.
