With an exciting Argentina side full of attacking talented and Bosnia team that can score plenty, Phil Kitromilides explains why he believes Group F will be the top scoring groupOf all the favorites to win their group at the World Cup, Argentina are the clearest, most overwhelming frontrunners with the South Americans offered at just 2/9 (1.22) with Paddy Power.
It is hardly surprising given the quality that Alejandro Sabella has at his disposal combined with the relative weakness of their group stage opponents.
Debutants Bosnia come next in the betting at 7/1 (8.00) while Nigeria are priced at 9/1 (10.00) and Iran are the rank outsiders at 33/1 (34.00).
The Balkan nation and the current champions of Africa will be expected to battle it out for second place and Bosnia are offered at 10/11 (1.91) to qualify for the knockout stages with Nigeria priced at 5/4 (2.20).
However, for some slightly higher odds backing Group F to be the highest scoring group at 4/1 (5.00) looks like a tempting option.
Argentina's stunning front line will be extremely keen to get stuck into three opponents who will not necessarily sit back and defend.
All three sides are likely to give the Albiceleste chances to score and they should be able to take full advantage.
Bosnia are also a side capable of scoing plenty of goals, as the showed in qualifying for their first
World Cup, finishing top of their group netting 30 goals, a total more than the likes of other group winners such as Spain, Italy, Belgium and Russia.
Throw in an attacking Nigeria side into the mix along with a relatively unknown quantity in Iran and you have recipe for plenty of goals which is why backing Group F to be the highest scoring group is a great option.
