Real Valladolid - Levante Betting Preview: Why neither side are likely to keep a clean sheet

With both sides in decent scoring form, our man in Spain, Phil Kitromilides, believes the price of evens (2.00) for them both to score looks to offer value
Friday's encounter in La Liga is one for the purist, as a desperate Real Valladolid side host an improving Levante. This visitors have now gone six games without defeat and are fighting for a spot in the Europa League given that this season seventh place in the table ensures qualification for Europe.

Valladolid meanwhile remain rooted in the bottom three, although a win on Friday would take them level on points with Malaga, the side currently occupying the final position of safety in the Primera Division.

bet365 offer a home win at 11/10 (2.10) while Levante can be backed at 11/4 (3.25).

What looks like an option which could offer us some value is backing both teams to score at the healthy price of evens (2.00). Levante on the road this season have managed to score at Barcelona, Sevilla, Atletico Madrid and Athletic Bilbao.

Logic then dictates that they should be able to score against a struggling Valladolid outfit, who themselves have been relatively consistent when it comes to scoring.

At the Estadio Jose Zorilla, Valladolid have netted in three of their last four games which means backing goals at both ends is a solid selection at a price which would allow punters to double their investment.
