thumbnail Hello,

There's another crunch game for Harry Redknapp this weekend, as Rangers look to bounce back from defeat to Derby against the Royals in the Championship

QPR's hopes of automatic promotion took a knock last Monday, with the Rs losing a close-fought battle with fellow promotion hopefuls Derby County. This weekend they have a chance to get back to winning ways against Reading, who have crept into the play-off positions in recent weeks.

Nigel Atkins' side have had a mixed bag of results of late, winning four of their last six matches, losing the other two.

Those four victories came after Atkins men had gone five matches without a win, losing four of those games. Sheffield Wednesday surprised them last time out, coming away from Reading with a 2-0 win. bet365 price them at 11/4 (3.75) to win.

QPR have been fantastic at home this season, winning eight of their last 11 matches. Redknapp's side currently trail Burnley who occupy the second promotion spot by three points going into the weekend.

Leicester look as though they have all but sewn up the title, sitting 11 points clear of QPR. bet365 price Rangers at even money (2.00) to win the match. The same firm prices the draw at 12/5 (3.40).

A common theme in both of these teams games in recent weeks has been goals. The over 2.5 goals bet at 21/20 (2.05) looks appealing, but when you consider that Reading have failed to score in four of their last six away games, and with QPR having Charlie Austin, their star striker injured, it's worth avoiding.

Instead it's worth backing the home side to take the victory. When Reading have faced the top sides away, they have struggled for results. Ipswich, Brighton, Middlesbrough and Leicester have all beaten them when they have travelled. When you also consider QPR's home form and need for a victory, it's tough to ignore this bet at even money (2.00).
