Real Madrid - Real Sociedad Betting Preview: Back at least two goals in the first half

Our man in Madrid, Phil Kitromilides, is backing a high scoring first half at the Bernabeu on Saturday afternoon with Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale both in fine form
Saturday's first match in La Liga has the potential to be a highly entertaining one, as Real Sociedad travel to the capital to take on Real Madrid.

After a tricky start to the season the Basques' have improved in recent weeks and last weekend's 5-0 thumping of Osasuna means La Real have won three of their last four league games.

Bet365 price them at 16/1 (17.00) to record another win at the Bernabeu while Madrid who have been playing some superb attacking football are offered at just 1/7 (1.14).

Naturally the hosts should win this one, but it has the potential to be a high scoring encounter.

While Madrid have been scoring plenty of goals they have also been conceding, and Real Sociedad have more than enough firepower to capitalise on any defensive lapses.

Over 3.5 goals looks like a very solid selection selection but at 33/50 (1.66) it is just too short for us to consider in this instance.

Instead over 1.5 goals in the first half at 4/5 (1.80) looks a more tempting option to return some decent profits.

This bet has paid out in each of the sides' last three meetings at the Bernabeu and looks to offer punters a decent option for investment on Saturday afternoon.
