thumbnail Hello,

Neil Lennon's men are fancied to collect another three points but our Scottish tipster is expecting both teams to find the net at Dingwall

Celtic have a chance to extend their lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon when they make the trip north to take on Ross County.

The Hoops go into this weekend’s round of fixtures with a four point advantage over Aberdeen following a 1-1 draw with Dundee United at Celtic Park last weekend and, following a 1-0 defeat against Ajax Amsterdam in midweek, Neil Lennon's side will be eager to get back to winning ways against the Staggies.

Celtic are warm favourites at 2/5 (1.40) with Coral to win this weekend while Derek Adams’ side can be backed at a chunky 11/2 (6.50) with the same firm to shock the Scottish champions. The draw is rated as a 4/1 (5.0) chance with Coral.

Incredibly, Ross County have failed to complete their last two fixtures, with the Highland derby against Inverness Caledonian Thistle having been abandoned at half-time due to floodlight failure, while a waterlogged pitch saw last weekend’s clash with St Mirren halted during the second half.

County, though, would have been grateful to see the clash against Danny Lennon’s Saints called off as they trailed 2-0 when referee Willie Collum brought the match to a premature end, and Derek Adams knows his side will need to perform better here if they are to stand any chance of getting a positive result against the Hoops.

The Staggies have won just three of their 11 competitive matches thus far this term but it is worth noting that all three victories came on home soil and Adams’ side will be hoping that home advantage can prove crucial once again on Saturday.

Celtic, though, have dropped just two points in six away league fixtures – a 1-1 draw with Hibernian last month – and will be confident of collecting another victory on their travels.

Lennon’s men should prove to be too strong for Ross County and the even money (2.0) quote from Coral for the Hoops to lead at both half-time and full-time is sure to attract plenty of support.

However, County’s impressive home form is worthy of consideration here and, with Celtic having kept just one clean sheet in their last 12 fixtures, the 10/11 (1.91) quote from Coral for both teams to hit the target is the recommended play for punters this weekend.

Both teams to score at 10/11 (1.91) 2pts stake with Coral
