Danny Lennon’s side have endured a miserable start to the campaign, collecting just one point from their opening six league fixtures while the Buddies also crashed out of the Scottish League Cup to Championship side Queen of the South.
St Mirren have managed just three goals in seven fixtures in all competitions thus far this term and the Buddies are chalked up at a chunky 12/5 (3.40) to get the better of Derek McInnes’ Dons on Monday night.
Aberdeen have been in fine form in recent weeks, scoring nine goals in their last three matches, including a 5-0 demolition of Falkirk in the League Cup in midweek and the Dons are excellent value at even money (2.0) with Betway to beat the Buddies.
The draw is chalked up as a 12/5 (3.40) chance with the same firm.
It is worth noting, too, that Aberdeen have not conceded a goal in their last 584 minutes of play and the Dons will fancy their chances of continuing that record against their shot-shy opponents on Monday.
Given Aberdeen’s impressive defensive record and St Mirren’s lack of goals, it is unsurprising to see Betway pricing up fewer than three goals to be scored at just 3/4 (1.75) ahead of Monday night’s clash but there is still plenty of value elsewhere for punters.
The Dons are likely to welcome back star striker Niall McGinn for the trip to Paisley and the Northern Irish striker, who has already scored three goals in five appearances for the Dons this season, is excellent value to find the net here.
Betway offer a generous 27/20 (2.35) that the 26-year-old front man, who scored an impressive 20 goals for Aberdeen in the league last season, scores at any time on Monday.
Punters, though, are advised to keep it simple and there is plenty value to be had in Betway’s generous even money (2.0) quote for Aberdeen to claim an away win over St Mirren on Monday night.
